I’m forever on the lookout for the perfect bottle. Something that will encourage me to drink more water throughout the day – which I struggle with. One of my major issues is whilst I’m more than happy to drink my weight in water, I’m really not a fan of that ‘old bottle’ musty smell that all water bottles seem to get after a while regardless of how they’re washed. So my ultimate water bottle would be something that keeps water cold, looks good and doesn’t have that horrible smell plastic bottles get. After some searching, I stumbled across the Chilly’s Bottle on Facebook.
Upon receiving my bottle in the post, my first impression was that I really like the outer packaging – it’s a bit different and definitely distinctive. The bottle itself was well protected and arrived in one piece, which is always a plus! The bottle itself is exactly what I expected. It’s sleek, a pretty pastel purple and has a nice matt finish – what more could you want? Often I find that matt-feel objects actually feel rough or have that ‘cheap tupperware’ feel that stands my hair on end. With the Chilly’s Bottle the feel is smooth and it’s easy to grip.
How does it stand up?
Compared to the water bottles I’ve used in the past, I’m very impressed by my Chilly’s bottle. It’s stylish as far as water bottles go and it does what it says on the tin. If I fill the bottle to the brim with cold water from the fridge before bed and drink from it throughout the night, it’s still ice cold by morning. Though that doesn’t account for the full 24 hours, it certainly works well for 10. The bottle is light but doesn’t feel cheap. And I can attest that dropping it on the floor doesn’t break it! So overall, a hit – and something I can see myself using for years to come if it stands the test of time.
